Our History

Techno Media Group “TMG” has started in 1992 as a supplier for measurement & control equipment, through its partnership with technology leaders worldwide; TMG has gained an excellent reputation in Egyptian market supported by its distinguished after-sale services. Our scope of supply serving different segments (Water & Wastewater, Electricity, Irrigation, Oil & Gas and major industries) includes (but not limited to) the following: Bulk and Residential Water meters with the ability of Remote/Smart reading (Itron formerly Actaris / Schlumberger) – France Smart / Prepaid water meters (TMG/Orange) – TMG in collaboration with Orange Egypt Ultrasonic & Electromagnetic flow measurement (Siemens) – France Leak detection & Water Management (HWM- Palmer) – UK Ultrasonic level measurement (Siemens) – Canada Water Calibration Test Benches (Justur / Actaris) – Spain Control systems (SCADA, PLCs, ..etc.), (Siemens) – Germany

History in Brief

Start

In 2006

TMG started the first private sector water meter factory in Egypt and provided the local market with over 3.8 million meters up to date.

In 2015

and throughout the past five years, TMG has been working side by side with Orange (Egypt) to develop a revolutionary design for the smart metering solution along with prepayment function using M2M communication available in the market.

TMG

TMG has installed control and measurement systems for several cities in Egypt, in order to monitor consumption, required pumping power, water balance, and other functions that the water authority in those cities might need, Examples are Qena, Sohag, Fayoum projects.

Starting in 1992,

and after 28 years of unique experience in Measurement & Instrumentation field, TMG is providing a complete integrated system for utility management, offering the best solutions from metering to data logging, monitoring, remote reading & loss control which in turn improves utility performance and increase revenue.

In 2011

TMG has awarded the first phase & second phase for supplying prepaid water & electricity meters to Madinaty (one of the biggest residential compounds in the middle east).

Recently

TMG has installed Prepaid and/ or Smart metering systems in several locations such as Sahl Hashish, the Red Sea, Marsa Matrouh, Giza, Alexandria, and other W&WW companies all over Egypt.
